This is a very impressive picture. (I can see that you've submitted it to #Cinematic-effect, and ... yeah, that's basically a great description of this picture.) I really like the contrast of blue and orange, especially right at the transition.

Of course, the most interesting part of this picture is the floating dark clouds directly above the tree. I also like the slightly invisible rays of light in the top right. That's an interesting level of definition where there should be only darkness, such as the left.

The tree is perfectly placed, not only on the horizon, but relative to the clouds on the right and the left. It looks to me like a couple of cold fronts or something that are coming together – great movement in weather. And yeah, the tree is right in the middle. The only problems with that are a) it's a bit cliché and b) the tree covers upt he most interesting cloud definition, at least in my opinion. But don't get me wrong, if I was taking this picture, I probably would have done the same thing.

About the cloud fronts, especially the one on the right: I normally dislike that type of cloud. It just doesn't look good to me (not really dynamic enough). So I'm glad you chose not to focus on it, and also that you have so many variations of cloud. It all comes together really well.
