Experiments are good, they help us to expand.

This is off the beaten track for you and its nice to see you take this route, the long exposure against the sunlight has worked well, the old woman appears almost ghost like and that adds all the more to the image.

The only downside I can see is the breakup within the higher branches of the tree, I presume this is due to movement such as wind, it has though caused some aberration in the light, I would suggest putting this through Lightroom and play with the levels in the Chromatic Abberation tool with it set on "All edges"

Its still a superb shot regardless.

Fantastic piece, the different layers add to the effect of time passing; I imagine that was the point :P

Yeah, i think it was on flickr, but it's also possible that i'm a bit confused, because it's quiet late and i'm still learning for 2 exams tomorrow. Maybe it was kinda deja-vu or something. But i swear i've already seen this picture -.-' sorry if i upset you! Didn't want it. And finally i hope you understand what i mean, because my english is not the best...

I'm sorry... :aww:

Why do you call it shades of time? I think it's an awesome title, it applies really well to this picture, and so I'm just curious as to why you chose it.

it looks like you processed two shots together without using a tripod ...
i would like it better if you had used your tripod so only the women and cars would be ghosts.

but i really like the colour and the idea.

i thought not because the fence and trees are ghosts too.. that means he slightly changed his position for his second shot.

Looks ok, I dont really like the ghosting with the tress and for a lack of better word ';patchy' or aliased color its produced in some areas. I prefer the smoothness in your other work.. but as you said this is an experiment ;) and still turned out nice.
